Where our rates come from
The backbone of every quote is the reference rate published by national central banks — led by the U.S. Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank, alongside dozens of other monetary authorities for their respective currencies. These are the same benchmarks banks, auditors and regulators rely on, which keeps our numbers anchored to reality rather than to any single exchange or broker.
How we make them live
Central-bank rates are authoritative but published on a schedule. To close that gap we enrich the reference rates with free-market and interbank data, blending the two so the displayed price tracks the market as it moves. The result is pushed over a live feed and updates in place — no refresh, no delay you can feel.
What we cover
150+ world currencies, major and emerging, plus leading cryptocurrencies, gold, silver and other precious metals, and a set of computed indices such as the U.S. Dollar Index. Every pair has its own page with a live chart, historical data and an instant converter.

Travellers checking a holiday budget, businesses settling invoices abroad, traders watching a spread, and developers wiring rates into their own products all use LiveExchanges for the same reason: it is fast, accurate and free.
